When I was Entrepreneur-in-Residence in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, I drew a "roadmap" of the innovation commercialization process on the whiteboard in my office. I tried to include all the key elements that innovators and entrepreneurs need to address to start, sustain, and scale a new venture. When the roadmap outgrew the whiteboard, I used a really neat drawing app (Squid) to create an electronic version now in the graphic below.
